Black and white photography was another unit we did. This one was a lot of fun to do. We got to use old black and white cameras that still used film. We learned how to develop our negatives and them make them onto the picture paper.
Photo means light Graphy means writing
Photography: the process of using a light to record an image onto film
Point and Shoot: does all the work for you
Single Lens Reflex: user can change aperture, shutter and lens
Camera: a light tight box, keeps film from being exposed
Lens: gathers and focuses light-measured in milimeters
Shutter Speed: measured in fractions of a second
Film: light sensitive emulsion
